Retired Judge Donald Andrew Cox has provided ADR services to attorneys all over Ohio for the past 23 years. He has conducted trials or mediations in 30 different counties in Ohio and in West Virginia nd Kentucky. Judge Cox has given many presentations on the use of mediation in the legal practice. He has served as an attorney in Ohio representing small banks, rural water companies and other companies along with individuals with probate and litigation issues. Judge Cox was the valedictorian of the 1972 class of Southwestern Local Schools in rural southeast Ohio where he lived on a farm and raised cattle, pigs and chickens and grew grain crops and hay. Cox obtained his BS degree from Rio Grande College with a major in Mathematics and a certificate to teach secondary school mathematics. Cox obtained his JD degree from The Ohio State University College of Law. Cox has been practicing law since 1979 and began his career as an assistant prosecuting attorney in his home county (Gallia). He was elected judge of the common pleas court in that county at the age of 32 and retired early to focus his career on ADR procedures. He obtained his mediation training from the Community Mediation Services, Center for Dispute Resolution in Washington, DC and the National Judicial College in Reno, NV. Judge Cox and his wife Sharon live near Grove City in Franklin County, OH and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren together. Judge Cox was a 4-H member all of his youth and is a supporter of the 4-H program believing that the program gives young people excellent teaching about life and living. Cox has served as a 4-H adviser and President of his local fair board. Judge Cox's CLE presentations have lots of entertaining stories about crazy cases and his own life experiences. He wants participants at his seminars to take away some helpful practice points while enjoying meeting other people and enjoying being involved in the role play demonstrations.

Dr. George M. Albu has served as a Mediator in over 3000 personal injury, medical malpractice, healthcare, business and employment disputes. For the past 15 years he has worked as a Mediator with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service where his practice focuses on the mediation of public and private sector labor negotiations and grievance mediations. In 2006 he was honored with the national Director's Award of Excellence for his work with Homeland Security and the development of training for the evaluation and procurement of healthcare insurance. Dr. Albu has broad experience in the formation, development, and delivery of managed healthcare systems and networks. He has participated in the resolution of medical licensure and discharge. He previously served as the head of the mediation section of the Ohio State Employment Relations Board. Dr. Albu graduated from The Ohio State University earning a BS in 1970 and earning a DDS in 1974. He completed his legal education at Capital University Law School earning a JD. He has completed mediation training at Pepperdine Law School, Harvard Law School, PIL and Center for Dispute Settlement in Washington, DC. He and his wife, Nancy have one son and live in Upper Arlington, OH. Dr. Albu is a very high energy, positive speaker who pulls attendees into his presentations.
